We’re baaaaaaaaack!

In a once-in-a-(summer)-lifetime, we invite you and your’s to Đồng Quể 2: a QTViệt showcase + dinner + fundraiser for immigration defense and rapid response community care. 

In fall 2023, a crew of us diasporic QTViệts went to the homeland to meet with local QTViệts and collaborate on a first-time-ever magical show called Đồng Quể. The full show’s archived here on IG :)

So from Việt Nam to the SF Bay, we’re reaaaaaaally excited to bring Đồng Quể 2 and welcome QTViệt Cafe collaborator and artist extraordinaire @babelonstage who’ll be premiering for the first time in the bay (!) and sharing their amazing art alongside other fabulous QTViệts! This is big! 😻

🗓️ Saturday, July 19th, 6-9PM, 6PM Dinner, 8PM Show

📍We’re excited to be in Oakland partnering with the sweet folx @understoryoakland!

🍊 We’re offering sliding scale tickets/registration and work/volunteer trade opportunities.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Proceeds will benefit rapid response and immigration defense funds for detainments and deportations in our community.  Registrations cover dinner/drink + show. Link in our bio linktree.

🌱 COVID/Health/Accessibility: The well-being of our community continues to be our utmost priority.  We invite folks to mask up indoors and COVID test day-of.  We’ll have some masks and tests available at the door. 

This is a family-inclusive and dry event.

All who are down to support a Queer and Trans Việt (QTViệt)-centered & QTBIPOC-nurtured space are welcome! We invite you to come dressed up in your highest and most comfy form of queer magic.
